Hello there! I am Marius Tudor, an award winning wedding photographer based in London and I am in love with traveling. I’ve visited more than half of the European countries and I have to say Vienna is on the top of the list, a city with a unique charm and vibrancy, a romantically Imperial metropolis well known for its cultural attractions. Vienna is a beautiful place for your engagement photos, especially during the winter.
If you love music, Vienna has been synonymous with music for centuries, the home of Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss. I do love music!
If you plan your engagement session in winter, keep in mind that Vienna is full of Christmas lights. If it is winter, I highly recommend a mixture between daylight shots and night photographs! If you don’t mind, please have a look at this winter engagement session in Vienna. You will also find more tips and recommendation about what to do in Vienna in winter, some of them applying during summer as well.
If you plan your engagement photos in Vienna during Spring I promise we won’t miss a walk through the cherry blossoms in Stadtpark. We will find a beautiful explosion of pink color as the cherry blossom trees start to bloom. We can also go for a picnic in a park. You can lay down on a blanket and enjoy your favorite food and drinks. During spring the sun light sheds amazing on almost every street so you can enjoy facing the sun with your eyes closed while laying on the ground. We won’t miss Schönbrunn palace gardens!
On the summer we can enjoy the Danube canal and the Old Danube or if you like amusement parks we can go to take some shots at Wurstelprater. Vienna is incredible in summer! If you think to plan your engagement photos in autumn, I have to say the weather might be your biggest concern. Overall, Vienna is amazing to visit any time of the year and the autumn is no exception!
