It was beginning of July last year, right after I got back from a beautiful experience at WEDDCAMP, when I received a call from Richard: “Hey Marius! How are you? Look, I have a beautiful wedding in few weeks. The venue is amazing, the couple is wonderful and I would like you to shoot next to me. What do you think?” It took me few seconds to think about and I said “Yes, why not!” Richard is an amazing wedding photographer I only knew from social media before. I also knew his fabulous work and his award-winning wedding photographs. We’re both part of few of the greatest communities for professional wedding photographers.
Indeed, Sarah and Chris are wonderful and warm people and Orchardleigh Estate is an amazing wedding venue, located at about 30 minutes far away from Bath. I booked the train tickets immediately. Such a pity I could not visit Bath the next day as I was in a hurry to leave to photograph another wedding two days later.
Orchardleigh Estate Frome Wedding
I was received with kindness and open heart by Sarah, Chris, their families and friends. I also met their good friend Russell, who travelled a long way from Canada to attend their big day.
The heavy rain and cold didn’t stop Sarah and Chris to go out for their portraits. Actually, they had a lot of fun. Sarah took an umbrella, she looked at Chris and she said: “Let’s go out and dance a bit in the rain!” It was right after their emotional wedding ceremony, when they both said “Yes” having tears in their eyes. They hugged each other, they kissed and they celebrated the day with joy and happiness.
As I am a very big fan of vibrant wedding parties, it was a real pleasure to photograph their Jagger moves and their boat dance having Sarah as the most experienced skipper in the world!
I thank you for your kindness and I wish you many very happy days together, guys!
Thank you for this experience, Richard Howman! It was amazing!
